Kipp Gill is an organist and music director from Red Banks, Mississippi. He began his musical journey at a young age, studying piano and singing with the Memphis Boy Choir in Memphis, Tennessee. It was during his time in the choir, singing beneath the Beautiful organ, that he fell in love with the organ.
While studying at Mississippi College, Kipp worked with several local churches and performed recitals throughout the region. After earning a Bachelor’s degree in Organ Performance, he moved to Macon, Georgia, to pursue a Master’s degree in the same field.
During his graduate studies, Kipp performed recitals across the eastern United States. Notable venues include St. Philip’s Cathedral in Atlanta, Georgia; Christ Church in Macon, Georgia; St. Mark’s in Evanston, Illinois; the Cathedral of St. Peter the Apostle in Jackson, Mississippi; and Mulberry United Methodist Church in Macon, Georgia, among others.
Kipp currently serves as Organist and Music Associate at Shandon United Methodist Church in Columbia, South Carolina.
